Why I can't replace Outlook Express with Outlook in Windows XP home edition?

What do you mean you can't? Just don't use Outlook Express and open Outlook and configure it. If you had an OE address and are successful in setting up Outlook, just notify your friends of your new address.

You could probably use some help. Why not consider a book? I've purchased many used books at www.amazon.com at very low prices and all I've received so far are in excellent condition.

Microsoft Outlook is a component of Microsoft Office. You need to buy and install Office to get Outlook
