I was watching the news right now and drugs that were being smuggled into the country were confiscated by border police....
but I was just wondering.... where does it all go? What happens to it?

p.s. I don't want to know just so I could go get it & use some
for myself, .....or *anyone*, for that matter....I am JUST curious.

Thanks, in advance...

They are kept in an evidence locker.Usually a series of rooms where "evidence", of crimes , guns, murderweapons, stolen objects, drugs ,etc are kept until a trial or are kept for other legal reasons.........

Usually large quantities of illegal drugs, and guns too , are destroyed by the Feds or other police agencies......

So its saved for evidence of a crime committed ,as required bylaw then the "stuff is disposed of after it isn't needed.....The state that I live in does this once a year.

Stolen objects like bicycles, stereo s, tires, rims, and other large things are usually re united with the owner(victim of the crime) and all the left over stuff is auctioned or sold off...... Large amounts of mony is placed in the state's general fund for recirculation......

They are supposedly "destroyed" by incineration. Some of it is sent to various pharmaceutical companies for "study" purposes and the like. However.....

There are some conspiracy theories which offer very interesting scenarios where they state that some of drugs is put into circulation for use by addicts.

They use drugs to control the population, or to keep a certain demographic down. Lots of profits are to be gained. I'm no conspiracy theorist but the Iran-Contra thing comes to mind.

That's quite simple, it goes into police or federal evidence lockers and when its done being used in court against the smugglers it goes right back out onto the streets.

Documented proof that 40% of drugs in U.S. are ran by police and the like. One article I saw was of military recruiting centers in a mall: army and navy were selling the drugs out of their stands.

they go into the cops pocket if they don't charge you and then into the hands of a narc or into the cops body. if they charge you all the drugs are entered into evidence. and stored until your court hearings. after that it goes back to the storage room, some may go to a confidential informant, some into the pockets of cops and eventually what is left goes to be "incinerated"

They go to the police departments evidence room , but most are inevitably destroyed or stolen by officers and employees to be used for "Choir Practice" or sold.

After the case is settled the drugs are destroyed Some may be kept for training purposes (drug dogs, what the drugs look like, what to look for).

It gets shipped to congress and they sell it and hide the money in freezers then blame it on bribes.Lol!

What is left goes to a locked evidence room at a secret loation and I believe it burned yearly.

Half of the time, into the arresting officer's possession. jk...lol.
You should contact ther local authorities to get this one answered. I am sure that they usually detain them for further examination and look for a trace back to their true origination...then bust!
