There are no vitamins that I am aware of that would help you become pregnant. I have heard, however, that raspberry tea will help the health of your uterus in preparation to becoming pregnant. I have also heard that taking folic acid before you become pregnant will help have a healthier baby. Also, if you're trying to conceive, ask your OB for prenatal vitamins. They will also help once you become pregnant. I just don't know of any herbal remedies that will help you get there.

We had tried for almost a year to get pregnant. We were both younger healthy individuals. I knew I could get pregnant because I had a miscarriage. I thought that maybe a vitamin would help because I wasn't taking any and did not eat exactly right in order to get everything your body should have. I started taking an over-the-counter prenatal vitamin and ended up pregnant within that month, so you figure 2-3weeks. That's my experience, I hope it helps. And good luck.

I don't think they help a woman conceive I just think women take them while trying to conceive in case they end up pregnant they are already taking vitamins. The vitamins I take my doctor prescribed for me. When I was trying to conceive I just took an over the counter multi vitamin.

Certain vitamins won't help you get pregnant, but they are essential in preventing birth defects if you do get pregnant. Folic acid is big in preventing birth defects, but is only effective if taken before the woman becomes pregnant, once the woman becomes pregnant it is no longer helpful in preventing defects, amazing huh? We had a genetic counselor visit one of my classes during my undergrad and she mentioned this fact. If you are trying to get pregnant, eating a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals is your best bet for getting your body in the best condition to get pregnant. Lots of sleep and regular but not overly-strenuous exercise also help get you in prime health, being overweight or underweight can make it more difficult to conceive. Good luck !
