Is the scar bleeding? She should see a doctor if it is, as it may have ruptured.
I bled for 10 weeks off and on after my c-section. It was because i did too much too soon. She really needs to take it easy and let herself heal fully.

Of course, if she is artificial feeding, it may very well be a period. I didn't get mine back for a whole year due to exclusive breastfeeding!

I stopped bleeding after 2 1/2 weeks but for some women it can take as long as six weeks.

Yes it is very normal to bleed that long. She could bleed up to 8-10 weeks. God Bless

Yes, after I had my baby I bled for 7 weeks!

yup normal i bleed about 3 weeks, expect her to get a period in about a month again, unless she is only breastfeeding, then she may bot get a period.

it normal takes about six weeks to clear the linning from the womb from the baby being there.

yes, it's normal, as long as its getting lighter in color and flow. If its still as heavy a flow as it was right after delivery, that's not normal, and she needs to talk to her doctor.
