So ive been depressed for awhile because these people i once was close with dont talk to me anymore. So tonight I just decided I hated them, and when I did I just felt so much better and immediatly stopped crying!
Now I am usually NOT a hateful person, but I dont feel a bit bad about this! why do you think this is?

Love to hate, hate to love.
I agree. It takes the pain away without inflicting self-harm. Cutting or suicide I mean.

I too, have people I hate, but I don't like having that feeling, because it goes against my beliefs. However, I can't help feeling the way I do about those people. I'm sitting here with gut wrenching feelings towards someone, and they probably don't even know or care about it. So who is suffering? Not them!! Try praying for understanding of these people. It's hard, but once you make peace with someone, it's a good feeling. I hated my father-in-law for 22yrs. to the point of wanting him dead, and a few weeks before he died, we finally talked. I actually ended up caring about, and feeling bad for the old coot. He's gone now, and so is that gut wrenching feeling I had all those yrs.

You either really do hate them and admitting it to yourself made you feel free. Or, you are trying to get back at them for how bad they made you feel. In either case, I wouldn't worry too much about it, it's a good thing you are feeling better!

That's good! It sounds like you were resisting the idea of change (getting them out of your life) and have finally come to accept it, which brings great peace and happiness.

congrats!
