Anyone know the cost of radiator leak repair or radiator replacement for a Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Because of the plastic tanks( brittle with age) it's better to replace the radiator.They're low priced these days. You can get a Quality one for about $165.That's a small price to ensure a healthy engine.

Depends on the size of the leak. A pinhole leak can be repaired with a product you pour into the radiator that is about the consistancy of honey. It dries around the leak and seals it. Remember to read the instructions very carefully if you use this.

replacement is best if you buy a new one yourself and have a friend do it for you someone who knows what they are doing, and buying a new one is best on http://www.partsamerica.com/
But a lot of the time they'll charge you like crazy to replace a small crack in the radiator so it really depends where the leak is, but a lot of the time it's best to buy yourself a new one and have someone who knows what they are doing do it for you...
Mechanics a lot of the time will try fooling ya with saying yeah we'll fix it but technicians usually will tell ya yeah go get a new one man rather than trying to fix it for you...
And your radiator is pretty common so it'll probably run you out to about 160.00 to about 220.00 to buy new...

it could be newhere from $250 to $850 depending on the leak but for a new radiator it costs bout $300...
