Which is your favorite? I'm currently on #5, The Austere Academy. Personally, I like it the best so far, but probably because the movie ruined the first three for me (although I have enjoyed the writing style throughout all five books, especially his little asides).

im not sure really...i like all of them i i cant see why anyone would like the movie its horrible! no detail nothing but emily browning the person who plays violet i think and the rest of the cast have done really well. but i think that you should start from the vile village if your gonna skip the rest bcoz otherwise you have no idea why they're running away from the police. but the end is exciting. it gives a few answers to those questions u want answered but leaves u puzzled and confused about the other questions. the series are wonderful and also read the unauthorized autobiography if you havent already even tho its not that informative. read them all is my advice and read them over and over again. im a big fan!

I have read them all and I really enjoyed all of them with the exception of The End. I think my favorite was the Carnivorous Carnival because of the characters; it was just the most fun for me to read. I loved the ambidextrous guy who thought he was a carnival freak.
