Putting the lock on my bedroom door at night...it makes absolutely no difference, cause we live in a pretty small apt, so if anyone is going to kill me or mug us the door lock won't stop them, however, false as it may be I feel secure with the thing on, so if it isn't on I stand up, lock the door and go back to bed, no matter how tired I may be.
