Want to install the applications on your mobile. Then you need to connect your mobile using data cable/blue tooth/Infrared . And you need to install compatible connectivity software in the pc ( If you purchase data cable then they will provide associated drivers along with that)

Depends on the program you wish to buy. Many can be bought online and downloaded, but some must have the CD.
