yesterday I stepped on a stick pin about 2 inches long, it went all the way through my foot and when I lifted my foot up it was pulled out of my foot so im not sure exactly what angle it went in, but now my whole leg is a little sore and im just wondering if anyone knows any dangers from getting stuck by a pin? im not sure but I think I had a tetnus shot 2 or 3 years ago if that helps

You got a puncture wound. Ouch! That means that whatever germs were on the stick and whatever germs were on the bottom of your foot are now trapped inside your wound. Your best bet would have been to go to the ER to get it properly cleansed, but now your best bet is...........yes, to go see your doctor asap. The fact that your whole leg is sore worries me alot. It sounds infected already.

Please listen closely; While you are waiting for your appointment day to come around, if you see any of these signs, go to the ER immediately:
increased swelling on the injured area
redness of the affected extremity
area around injury being warm to touch or very tender
fever
nausea and/or vomiting
chills
headache that won't go away

You could definitely get an infection or penetrate a vein. I would go to a doctor soon.

You should be getting antibiotics and some antitetanus shots if you are not sure of your immunization history.

You need to get some medical aid...antibiotic too.
