It just doesn't make sense...we're putting American lives at risk for the sake of handing out money to people too lazy to work, or not even legally in the USA. We just may not have enough warheads to totally obliterate the enemy and all their partners in the axis of evil.

Obviously you don't comprehend the correlation between the Conservative Fiscal policies of the last 25 years and the growing poverty numbers. The lack of a raise to the minimum wage, the defunding of education, the interest on College loans, Medical costs of the uninsured leading to bankruptcy, the elimination of Tariffs on imported goods, on and on.

What is the justification in defunding our social programs and on the other hand we delegate monies to these Two words---CORPORATE WELFARE--like a bottomless pit.

So your all for Bush sending over Pallets of 100$ bills in the Billions ?

Did you know that Seymour Hirsch of the New York times just found out that we are funding 3 Jihadist organizations in Lebannon that are anti-Hezbollah--those same funds are thought be from the 9 billion missing--Can you say Iran-Contra?

Any comprehension? Apparently not.

Our welfare system cannot work if the Republicans in Government continue their onslaught against the American worker through their agenda as a whole.

Welfare is the best way for the United States to enforce its caste system. Welfare breeds welfare and more often than not people will not break out of the welfare cycle on their own. This way you not only keep them down but you can also blame them for their own misfortune.
Weapons grade plutonium stays potent for a couple of centuries so don't worry, when the time comes we have enough nukes to destroy the world many times over.
Also a thumbs up for scottyurb, foreign aid is far more out of control than welfare.

Maybe we would have more money if we stopped spending so much making enemy's. And fighting meaningless wars. And having so many military people. Feeding the poor is a much better cause than killing people.

Not enough warheads? There are enough nuclear weapons to destroy the earth several times. Do you see a need to destroy it even more?

Because our gov't shipped out all our jobs to China and Mexico, we no longer have jobs. Believe it or not, it does helps to take the blinders off once in a while.

no country needs a nuclear arsenal. But if it is OK for the U.S to have them then it should be OK for any country to have them.
