Is there a way to speed up wi fi internet?
An external speedbooster?

Wired is 100 mbps
Wireless is 54 mbps

If i get wireless n, will i have to get wireless n cards?

Not much you can do because it's mostly depends on your router, your internet provider and the location of your router. A repeater or signal booster may help. The get the best of the draft-N you'll need a draft-N NIC to go with the router. The N standard is still not finalized yet so your draft-n hardware may not be compatible with the N standard when it's done. Wireless is still not as fast or reliable as wired ethernet.

Aint much point! You got a provider that can download more than 54 mbps? Even at 54, you wont find any ISP that will come close to that!

you can get a wirless router with a speedbooster and wider range on it. they cost about 100 or if your using wireless g , try using wireless n. wireless n is twice as fast typically. good luck!
