Well men are obviously stronger as far as physical stength is concerned. I don't know if women are emotionally stronger. They have stronger emotions, but as far as handling stress I'm not sure. That seems to be more of an individual basis. Men are just as resilient when faced with adversity as women are. I think women probably have a higher pain tolerance, but I'm not sure regarding how huge of a difference it is. The reason is because experiences whether from medical adversities and other instances can raise one's threshhold of pain significantly, especially if the person has dealt with intense chronic pain throughout his life.

Mentally stronger - Female.
Emotionally stronger.. Tie because having alot of emotions is a good thing and wemon seem to have more but sometimes emotions can hold you back.
Physically--men.

Stronger is different ways due to personal experiences, environment, etc. Of course men are physically stronger. But women have a higher tolerance for pain and are emotional and verbally more sophisticated.

Males are physically stronger, because testosterone promotes muscle growth, and males have an overabundance of testosterone.

gender is actually a term that refers to societal role or norms (ie masculine or feminine)
male female is a biological thing..
i pesonally feel that feminine roles are actually a sign of strength.. it takes a very emotionally strong and stable person to be able to open up and show emotions, vulnurability, weaknesses, etc...
males and females who have a strong feminine side and who are comfortable expressing it are more emotionally strong than others..
i won't stereotype and say all males or all females are always stronger than the other, because that just wouldn't be true..

Male. It has to do with higher testosterone production, as well as other hormones, which promote muscle growth. There are other reasons as well, but that is an important factor.

Both are stronger.
Some say Men are physically strong. This is not true. There are women who are physically strong but women do not like to be physically strong.
Some say women are mentally strong. I cannot agree. In India most of the saint or Sages are men. There are men who are mentally strong. men don't prefer to be mentally strong they just like physical strength.
In this world both have the capability to be strong but they prefer their way.

in truth we are balanced equals......
in the ideal world
men would not use their physical strength for power and women wouldnt use sex......
i take insult to the idea women are mentally stronger.... pain tolerance yes, emotionally more sophisticated yes, but brain power,,,,,,, hell nooo..
where are all these women inventors or scientists, or religious scholars...... i think we are equal but women are repressed.... mentally
men at the age of 35 have the highest mental skills on the curve....nyaaa
