I have one, in Georgia it is called a work permit but in other states I have heard it referred to as a hardship license. If you get pulled over going anywhere else it is driving on a suspended and jail so be careful. I even have to have a breathalyzer on my ignition for six months, but hell I have definitely learned my lesson.

It's called a provisional license, and the judge has to grant it.

you have to go before a judge and get a work permit and it's very difficult to do, in Nebraska anyway!
