I took the test and the first line was dark the second line is a little faint in color but is not close to the first line at all. Is this an indicator that I am pregnant??? Please help!

It does not matter how dark the 2nd line is, it is very rare to get a false positive of any kind b/c you won't have enough HCG in your system without being pregnant to make any shade of line form. If it is not long after you missed your period or if you have not missed it yet then it is normal for the line to be lighter than the first b/c the HCG hasn't had time to build up in your system. ALSO, there should be a picture of what a positive result looks like in the instructions. It is generally about the same size as the actual square so is very helpful. If you want to take another test tomorrow morning that would probably be a good idea, b/c you won't get a faint line that doesn't indicate a positive test on two seperate tests (as in 2 of them aren't going to be malunctioning and making a faint line on their onw). Taking a blood test at the drs might be a good idea b/c you can know for sure that way without any guessing. Best Wishes!

I don't know about the spacing, but a faint line is a positive, no matter how faint! Congrats! ;o) (I don't think the spacing matters)

If there are 2 lines, period, you are probably pregnant.
