Rick Dipietro tonight...
he had the worst final 3 minutes in hockey i've ever seen
He had a shut out with 2 1/2 minutes to go in the game with 34 saves, and his team up 2-0.
All that changed quickly.
on shots 35 and 36, the St.Louis Blues scored to tie the game at 2.
With 20 seconds left Rick Dipietro held Brad Boyes' stick for under a second, and was called for a penalty.
25 seconds in OT, the Blues won on the PP.
3 goals allowed and a penalty in 3 minutes is pretty strange for a guy who was playing cool, calm and collective for the first 57 1/2 minutes.

The game in the 1990 Stanley Cup Finals - Edmonton vs Boston. Power went out in the Boston Garden in overtime and the game could not be finished. Also, some of the games in the sunbelt where there are literally *hundreds* of fans left by the third period - always looks so funny on tv

The Dallas Stars flooding the ice with people and screaming and yelling and celebrating like they won the Stanley Cup in 1999, and then everybody just going with it even though the goal review gave a crystal clear look at the fact that the goal should have been discounted due to the "goal scorer's" foot being in the crease. To this day, I cannot understand why that was allowed to happen.

Strangest end to a Period I ever saw was a Penguins game where they went to the Video Goal Judge and found that the goal was scored with like a half second left in the period. That was years back though so not sure who was playing.

This season, Patrik Stefan, Dallas Stars. Everyone has to remember this one. 8 seconds left, Stefan steals the puck, coming in on an empty net, and the game is over.. OH WAIT, HE FANNED ON IT.. pass to the blue line, he shoots, HE SCORES. That was so funny, Stefan shouldn't of been so fancy. All it took was a little shot into an empty net, and decides to bring to the back hand for.. I'm not sure why. But the pass to Ales Hemsky to Dallas' blue line was a VERY good pass, directly to him, and deked out Dwayne Roloson badly. But Dallas won in OT, but that's one very crazy ending, and was funny to watch it on ESPN in school with my friends, we were going nuts.
