Ouran, at face value, is rather pedestrian in terms of comedy and plot. The brilliance in the show, however, comes from its playful if not mocking jabs at fujoshi (fangirl) culture, yaoi fandom and otakus in general.
Whereas in other shows, women would be the ones abusing thier sexuality in order to manipulate the other sex for their money, Ouran switches the genders, turning the girls into mindless, slobbering fools for once.
It is post-feminist irony, and boy, is it delicious.

I super love it... I had the craze for like 4 months and I just cannot get it out of my head ( I don want to lah actually ) My favourite character is probably Tamaki... But I like all... If there is any info abt Ouran season 2..... Pls tell me.... I will be super happy...

i love Tamaki n Kyoya(specially when his in the dark king mood).it is funny but the animations superb.

Its awesome. i love it....but too bad it just got 26 episodes....but is it true that there will be a season 2 as well??...that will be superb.does anybody know when its coming out??
