What can you possibly do if someone continues to text message your phone when you've told them it's done and over with, the problem they're texting about? You can't bring cops into it because you can manipulate texts for dishonesty and all that and teachers and parents can't do much besides tell them to stop so what's the supreme way to stop it? Can you block text messages from certain people?

It wasn't that I carelessly gave out my number, it's a friend who is a girl actually and she's attacking me because she got angry at me for some reason so it was in good hands, I just need to choose my friends more wisely. And I have stopped texting back. I told her it was over with but she continues to text me, mainly trying to provoke a reaction, jump all over her, cuss her out, anything to start silly drama and I know that's stupid so I told her to please stop and that it's over and didn't reply again.

Seems like there should be something that can be done. Have you told your parents? Maybe they should talk to this persons parents and see if they can't get it to stop. If it doesn't, I wouldn't care what you thought about manipulation of text messages, I would go to the local p.d. and ask someone what can be done about it?

If that doesn't work, call your cell phone carrier and see if you can block the number somehow...

But honestly, if you'll leave it alone, and not text message back, they will eventually get tired of it and stop.

Good Luck!

get a witness or when the annoying person is texting take the phone to the police and show them. Be more careful who you give your number to.

you can contact your cell phone company and have them block his number completley... phone calls and texting. but he will find another way, im sure.. like using someone elses phone. if he does after you block the number youll have to look into getting the police involved.

i think your best bet would to be change your phone number, if that is to much of a hassle call your phone company and ask if you can block text messages.
