I love Roy Orbison. He had one of those voices that can never be matched and a lot of great songs; "Only The Lonely", "In Dreams" (which was used in the Robert Downey Jr. thriller of the same name), "Crying", "blue Bayou", etc.

i dont realy like him but i heard the lead singer glen danzig of the misfits was inspired to sing like him and that makes me think... a band i worship was influence by him... maybe i should listen to some roy lol
