Huge Mulitple Title Comic Crossovers. Love them? Hate Them?

Civil War, 52, Infinite Crisis, Countdown.

Are these crossovers fun to read, and epic story.

Or

Do they muck up your reading by a never ending milking of your wallet?

They mess with all the other story lines. The best stories that come out of them are the tie-ins in the actual titles. You always miss something in those crossovers. I'm not a fan of them.

I really enjoy reading them, as long as they don't get too far out of hand. (Onslaught...still trying to find the rest of that one) I thought that Civil War was great, even though it ended pretty weakly.
