I absolutely love Jamaica and the people. I've been to other places in the carribbean, but nobody is as nice as the people of jamaica. In other places, you're treated as a tourist. Only want your money. In jamaica, people are warm and welcoming and treat you like an old friend. But....act like a tourist, and you get treated like one. But as long as you are friendly and show a little respect you wont find a better welcoming. I don't think there is a person on the beach in Negril you can't walk up to and shoot the sh*t with just like they're your next door neighbor.
Some might think less of your country and people, I'm NOT one of them.
*respect*
Will be down in the end of March, can't wait to be there!

It's on my to do list for traveling in the future. But when I think of Jamaica, I think of tourism. I'm not a fan of tourism. I'd like to know the real Jamaica if I go.

In NZ, it means get inebriated as in: virtually legless, or 'smash the c**t's head in' as in: beat the pulp out of a guy they're pee'd off with. In sexually oriented international places, it means 'have sex'.

I think I'd rather be in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Lovely white sands, beautiful water, lovely islanders.

But then I'm biased.
