Persian Gulf.
Arabs say that since there are more Arabic countries around the Gulf it should be called Arabian Gulf.
BUT there is more Persian land around the Gulf and we've been around for more than 2500 years so it is more logical to call it Persian Gulf.

No water channel has been so significant as Persian Gulf to the geologists, archaeologists, geographers, merchants, politicians, excursionists, and scholars whether in past or in present. This water channel which separates the Iran Plateau from the Arabia Plate, has enjoyed an Iranian Identity since at least 2200 years ago

"Arabian Gulf" is also an ancient name for the Red Sea

The mentioned gulf has always been called the Persian Gulf.
Persian history dates back more than 2500 years.
The neighboring Arab countries have for many years attempted to change the name, but thus far have been unsuccessful.
