my internet explorer is acting weird with pop-ups. Everytime I open a new window (not new tab) and then I try to close it, it keeps saying something like, "Internet Explorer has occured an error and needs to close", and this happens every single time! What do I do?

Do you have a firewall on your system? If not... Better get one quick. Look them up, but one free one is Agntium Free, and it has anti-spyware and things like that.

Go to www.pcworld.com and start reading about the stuff you're talking about if you can still get through.
Download www.fixit.com to get started. SE Spyware scan is free and there are many others.
Are you on Yahoo, or some of the other internet places that have pop-up blockers? Go into the Options menu and explore to find out how to enable them.
Download Mozilla.com and use it, Firefox, as a browser instead of IE. It's MUCH BETTER!

I wouldn't recommend IE 7 at least not until they get all the bugs fixed

Best programs for a good running PC and are free, the first two get all the add ware when you them one at a time. They caught a key logger first time I used them. The last one on the list is my favorite it cleans all the junk files and a whole lot more .Zone alarm is about as good as it gets. This and yahoo security suit are all I use to keep my PC happy.De frag and scan disk also.

Maybe update your web browser.

Internet Exploer 7

If nothing else works, as a last resort, try a differnet web browser.
