i bought and installed windows vista ultimate on my laptop and i am geting a umpc (ultra-mobile pc) soon, so can i use the same copy on my umpc?
i am willing pay some money, just not for a new disc.

when you get the new PC call Microsoft's 1800 number and ask for a new key. tell them you have 2 computers one is a PC and one is a laptop they should give you a new number.

Yeah, it will work. People say you have to call MS. BS, its probably some legal crap, but a majior inconvienience. As long as you only use the CD on one computer its legal.

If you use it on more than one computer, you may have some trouble getting updates for both, and the OS will give you crap about it not being a genuine copy.
