I need to fill out a scholarship application which is a PDF document. The form says I have to type on the form but I don't know how I can type directly on that PDF document. I tried copying and pasting the form from the PDF to Microsoft Word, but it looks really sloppy. Just wondering if there was a different way to go about this and possibly type directly on the PDF. Thanks!

It is not possible to edit or fill in a pdf document. The best you can do is take a printout and fill it up and then scan it and send it back my mail or directly send it by post. One more thing you can attempt that is print the document and scan it with OCR into a word file and then you can fill in that word file but this is always not very perfect due to OCR mistakes.

hahaha, You must have Adobe Acrobate Professional 7.0, Then you can type all your document in the MS-Word, after you setup Adobe Acorbat Professional 7.0 completly you will see some tool bar for convert from MS-word to PDF file. (in MS world). Then you just click convert then save it as PDF it ok.

Hello Mike,

Download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader from the Adobe web site. It allows you to fill in those forms and re-send them. You simply click in the check boxes or fill in the text fields. Best of luck with your scholarship.
