Depends--how long you ran the saw and how hard.1 or 2 min.may not have hurt It.. Put the right oil-gas mixture in and try it out.I did this once and got buy with out hurting anything
If it has no compression and wont start--its probably junk.

You didn't say what the result of using it with gas only was. If you dump out the gas in it now and put in gas with oil will it run or did it lock up when you tried to use it with gas only?
If the motor is locked up the cheapest was would probably be to replace the chainsaw.

several un answered questions, is it new or does it have lot of hrs on it. Is it a cheapo or an expensive model.
Most usually you are talking major over hall, and that means lots of money.
If it is a good named brand, my first thought, take it to a dealer and see if you can trade it in for a new one. There will be some parts he can use in his shop.
Hourly shop rate will run from $65.00 to goodness no what.
Take it around and get some estimates, but I am afraid you have a good boat anchor

Empty the gas out and put in two cycle mixed gas.

If it is froze-up, take out the spark plug and spray WD40 in the chamber. Take off the clutch cover and use a wrench to break it free. You have taken many hours of use off your saw, but it should run for quite awhile.
