Can you use a phone cable and a phone jack to hook up internet to your PS2?

Can you take a D-Link USB Wireless connector and plug it in the USB port on the PS2 system?

I have the PS2 Slimline

No and no.
Your phone jack will not work.
If you say you have a Wireless connector, you also have a Wireless router.
Run a normal ethernet cable from your PS2 to the router and then use the Network Access disc on your PS2 to get online.

However the Wireless stick will not work.

To play online with the PS2, you're gonna need to get a PS2 Network Adaptor, which took me about 3 months to find. They're about $60 after taxes unless you get them over the internet. HOWEVER, you're lucky because you have the slimline, and that one has the network adaptor built-in, so you don't need to worry about getting a network adaptor. I have the large PS2 and a Network Adaptor and you can use either a phone cable or ethernet cable to connect to the network. You can't use usb or any of the other connectors on the PS2. Now I don't know if the slimline PS2 has the phone connector, but it should, and all you would have to do is connect the cable there, or connect an ethernet cable, and use the software to set up the network (you should have the CD and manual...they should have come with the PS2). You'll need a memory card to save your network settings, though. Good luck!

I'm sure you have to connect through an ethernet cable through the back of a computer or a router
