I can't remember the type off hand since it was a while ago but at Walmart for $30. You have to activate it from a land-line. I think for $30 I got 100 minutes and if I used a coupon that came in a book with the phone I would get a number of minutes for free. The activation was only good for 3 months (I think). It got to where a service plan was A LOT cheaper than prepaid. Good luck with it.

Virgin Mobile, buy the OYSTR (white kyocera flip phone) at Radioshack for 19.99. Check out the service options. Two most popular are 18 cents a minute or 7.00 fee at the beginning of the month and then all your calls are 10 cents a minute. They sell prepaid cards in the amount of 20, 30, or 50 dollars. If you're real nice the people at Radioshack might even help you activate it, otherwise go to virginmobileusa.com.

I got a Cingular Go prepay Motorola phone from Walmart, the basic model was $18 something, they also had a Samsung camera phone for about $30. Both had internet capability. I bought a $100 minute card, they only charged $93 for it, and the minutes are good for a year.

Cingular Go has 2 prepay plans, one is a flat rate $0.25 a minute, the other one is $0.10 a minute but $0.99 any day you use the phone - but calls to other Cingular customers are free.

I have US Cellular.... I pay $60 a month and get 600 minutes, all incoming calls are free. I can't remember how much I actually paid for the phone itself.

one wud hav no way of replying without knowing where u wud like to purchase the fone. prepaid fones r available all over the world n the best bet wud be to go to a store which stocks multiple brands. the tv ads and billboards r a gud study too. after all, all these guys advertise their products.
