In the universe, I guess any star, or maybe black holes.

All the stars (including the sun) use fusion as a source of energy, and the energy of the universe comes from the stars. . .

Of couse, it was not always that way. In the beginning, there was the big bang, and the energy came from that. . .

On Earth, all life depends on plants being grown by the sun. The sun, and all stars, are fusion-powered.

So the answer is either the sun, directly, or the earth, indirectly.
