I couldn't believe it. Am sorry Nick was let go -- I liked his rendition of "Fever". Also hate to see Leslie leave. She had her own distinct sound, and I thought she was beautiful -- reminded me of Bo Derek somewhat -- plus, she loved dogs (that's big in my book!).

Meant to also mention that I was equally shocked to see Kelly Pickler looking like that -- see Hermey Agonistes' (fellow answerer) comments regarding her -- so funny, couldn't have described her better !!

I couldn't agree with you more, on all counts. I thought Antonella would be first to go, given the recent controversy, and the fact that she can't sing, but I guess she's nice to look at, so she'll be around longer. And Sunjaya just about had his bags packed when Ryan announced it was AJ. The look of relief on Sunjaya's face was priceless.
And finally, yes, I liked Leslie a lot - I thought she was had a nice sound - and totally adorable. Too bad.

The wrong two guys went home for sure. I thought Sanjaya should have left and the other guys name I can't even remember. As for the girls I think Alana didn't do very well and that Antonella should of gone with her. In the end though, I don't think any of them were going to win, so as long as the big ones are still around I guess that's good. There will be bigger suprises to come I am sure.

I was shocked to no end.. Antonella needs to go she can't sing good at all. Sunjaya I am not sure why he is still there but he must have something the people like but not sure what..
I like Lselie and Nick they both did pretty good in my eyes.. Aj I think we will see more of him in time he can sing..

I was totally shocked about Sunjaya not being eliminated- he's too young and inexperienced to be on there- I just can't understand it. Leslie I could understand in a way, she had a style that was different than all the others, but not in a bad way. I can't get over Nick being sent home either. He was good! I'm definitely gonna have to start voting!

I HATE ANTONELLA!!!!!
not only does she have a mediocre voice, but she also is a terrible person!!! her and her best friend ganged up on that little 16 year old in Hollywood week. Antonella and her best friend acted so immaturely and made themselves look like fools.
Sunjaya is like that littler nerdy boy last season.... his grandmother and her knitting club must be voting non-stop along with the rest of the nursing home...

Yeah omg I know hu. Thats exactly what I was thinking. When ever something like that happens it makes me want to stop watching it because its clear that they should have been kicked off. Nick was so good too. I tried to vote for him but it was busy then I forgot to try again dang it. I was so shocked. They better be off next week though.

I would have bet money that they would be among those to go. But I think the misfits at http://www.votefortheworst.com are helping them stay around.
What was with Kellie Pickler? She looked like she was some 60-year-old country star in the twilight of her career! The word that leaped into my head as soon as her song started was "dowdy." Kellie! I know it's country, but show us that you're still young at heart, gal!

Heck, yeah! Sunjaya picked a bad song, too slow and too mellow.
Nick and whats-her-face kinda bored me, so that wasn't so awful.
But I liked Leslie. She was different and had a great sense of humour. "Why on Earth did I decide to skat?! America just doesn't care for jazz!!!" Hehe!
