if u do not have declorinator, u r going to have to let the water set for 24 hours. putting the fish in the bowl is easy. just place him in the bag in the water for about 20 min. so the waters can become the same temperature. if u don't have an airstone, u will have to change the water once every 2 weeks at most to give them fresh oxygen and don't over feed 1 pinch twice a day and whatever he doesn't eat in 5 min take out of the bowl with a net. if u don't have declorinator, i suggest u run back to the store and get some. i can't believe the fish people at the store wouldn't ask u these ?s so u can have what uneed when u get home.
But if you really want it to live long, place it in a set up aquarium, with filter and oxygen, it's the best way to pet any fish. good luck

the numerous problem is that you took a fish that produces a intense quantity of waste and calls for fifty-one hundred gallons of water reckoning at one among those goldfish it really is, and also you stuck it in a bowl and not using a filter out or aeration, and that i'll wager below a gallon of water. you want to modify the water interior the bowl ASAP, and until eventually you're waiting to purchase a suitable ecosystem for this fish, go back it to the save.

Do you have water in it?! It is a fish.... Besides, you need a tank with a filter for a goldfish, bowls are cruel and unsanitary.

Maybe it's depressed & needs a companion. Wouldn't YOU just sit around & mope all day if you had nothing to do & no one to hang with? Get it a mate-& see what happens... Good luck!
