it's like talking to a brick wall!!!! i'ved tried every thing , everyone hears me clearly but i can't hear anyone,speakers at full volume,do i have to down load software or some thing????? who ever fixes my problem will get all the points , stars & ratings i can give :-)please help before i throw this pc in the bin from being over stressed !!!!!!! IS THERE A COMPUTER GOD THAT CAN HELP ME !!!!!

You didnt provide what you are tryin to use them with for a program but here goes, If you are refering to Yahoo messenger, open the preferences and click on the calling and audio tabe and make sure the speakers are set in the audio preferences. You can test them by running the call setup.

Is your speaker inserted into the right place on the back of the computer? Do you hear other sounds from your computer?
I'm just trying to figure out if where hte problem lies in your case..

Are you getting other computer sounds? If not, you've either got it plugged into the wrong socket, or there's something wrong with your sound card. Try updating the sound card drivers.

odds' are u have a driver problem or u don't have the right sound device enabled, go to your control panel and hit sounds from there look @ the devices and play around with those
