Awesome!

1. Build relationships with professors/teachers so you will have at least 3 to write reccomendation letters for you.
2. Get good grades, make sure they increase as you go on and do not decrease.
3. Join a club either in school or a volunteer organization outside of school.
4. Writing is very important so make sure to focus on your writing skills.
5. Take and complete a second language
6. Prepare for SAT/ACT you will take Junior year.
7. Look into scholarships you'll want to apply for so you can make sure to meet their criteria.

One of the first things you can do is learn how to spell, to capitalize when necessary, and to punctuate your writing as correctly as possible. Many so-called "great" colleges require an entrance essay be written by every candidate who applies. So, don't use colloquialisms, slang or any other kind of informal language when writing your essay. For example, the word "preety" doesn't exist, except maybe in the world of the functionally illiterate. So that's out. Also, make sure you capitalize the word "I" or any of its forms whenever you use them. Another thing you can do is to start each sentence with a capitalized word, unless you begin the sentence with a number or a symbol of some sort, which is possible, though highly unusual. But the most important thing you need to do is study hard and make good grades. If you do that, then the writing skills will probably take care of themselves, and you should be assured of getting into just about any "great" college you want.

In this four years of high school, try your best to get a high GPA and SAT or ACT score. Pass FCAT as well. And figure out what careers field that interest you, then looks for the college or university that's best for your career or the field that you going to study for. Good Luck!!!
