From legalizing torture, to invading foreign countries, and one of the highest death penalty rates in the world, I wonder how some people reconcile their so-called Christian beliefs with American foreign policy and its government.

I Heart: I don't follow your logic. A responsible Christian individual would not support the Bush administration. So you are saying the separation between church and state ate your homework ?

Because what passes for religion in the South is a mental disease. The surest way to restore morality is to become a Deist nation, seeing as how that was the primary religion of the founding fathers. It's big on a couple funny things called reason, science and debate.

Legalizing Torture: Where have you been? Do you read the news? You need to do some more in depth reading before listing this as an example.

Invading Foreign Countries: It wasn't an invasion, it was a liberation. Saddam Hussein is dead as are his sons. This is a righteous war.

Death Penalty: Taking the life of another person may have severe consequences instead of enjoying 3 squares a day courtesy the American tax payer.

Because Liberals insist on a separation between Church and State even though the US Constitution has no language even approximating this philosophy.

It is not for the government to be Christian, it is for each of us individually to be Christian. But, if we limit the size and power of government (as put forth by Madison and Jefferson) we could stop those things that are abhorrent (such as torture, abortion, etc).

Neo-libs would never stand for that

Most christians want to believe someone who says he is a born again christian. And will do and follow Christ in his example.

Now we are also told that their are wolves in sheeps clothing. That say one thing and do another. That would be GWB-Cheney. JESUS said a tree is known by its fruit and the fruit of GWB's tree is deceit war and murder, not christian in action but just the opposite. Anti-Christ in action, deceiving the world.
