Salt and sodawater - let it soak for 3-4 minutes and then lightly rub it out.

if you have tried hairspray and rubbing alcohol and didn't get the results you want. use a carpet cleaner and use sudsy ammonia instead of regular cleaner

go to a place like home depot ot lowes and buy this stuff called GoofOff or the other stuff called OOPS.

yes..try hairspray...or try those mister clean sponges....a friend of mine told me about them and they removed permanent magic marker stains her granddaughter put on her furniture!
