i have like a brown period i think it is a period well is it GIRSL ONLY MEN DON'T KNOW THIS SORT OF STUFF

Brown periods are normal for your age, especially if you have not been having them for very long. In time, it will look more like how blood is "supposed" to look.
BTW, this should be under the "women's health" forum. You are more likely to get females to answer your question seriously there.

hi megan.. wow, first period. this must be an exciting experience for you.. you are starting to transform from a little girl into a young lady.. yes, talk to your mother about this and she can advise you of how to deal with periods and let you know about all the other changes your body is about to go thru over the next few years!

should be okay if it's your first period though you need to talk to your mother about it not on here though. Trust me mothers like to know their daughters talk to them about these things.
