Yes JaMarcus Russell is worth taking with the #1 pick, I wouldn't waste it on Brady Quinn, so over rated it isn't even funny. I guess when you go to ND, you get alot of hype.

I personally don't think so. He seems to sometimes not be on top of his game and does stupid things when put under pressure.Everyone seems to think he is the best after watching him win the Sugar Bowl but the truth is (no offense) the SEC is just so much better than other conferences who are totally overatted so when an SEC team that is even halfway decent plays another conference they look like superstars. If you really want to see how Jamarcus Russell plays against a good defense watch the game they played against Auburn. Then you will see why I diagree.

Yes I believe that JaMarcus Russell is worthy of a #1 selection becuase he is just unblievably good. annd can throw the ball 83 yards. lol

he is. when the guy can throw the ball 84 yards on the money. he is worthy of going number one.

Calvin johnson. is a better athlete over all. but why should the raiders pick up a guy who cant kick start the offense? they need a franchise QB. like russell to come in and make things happen. Moss is a big time reciever. and all he needs is a person to throw the ball to him.

Quinn. although i love ND. comes up a sliver short. he lacks the big time arm but makes up for it with better mobility and a solid foundation with an NFL type offense.

Jamarcus will go #1.

well calvin johnson is the best player in the draft period. nobody comes close. he should be the #1 pick and if the raiders get rid of moss, then CJ will be the #1. but if the raiders keep moss then theyre gonna get russell. i think russell is probably the best QB in this draft and will have a better career than quinn.

He's a hell of a prospect but if it wasn't the raiders picking #1 he would drop anywhere from #8 to the texans to as low as #29 to the Ravens(I know that sounds extremely retarded but take a look at the draft order and all of the teams between those 2 picks have more pressing needs than quaterback)

Pysically, hell yes. Mentally, he's dumb as a box of rocks. Still he's the best quarterback in the draft this year and the Raiders would be stupid not to take a chance on this guy. Besides, aannyybbooddyy(kickers included), is a huge upgrade over that idiot Brooks!

yes because brady quin cant win big games for the raiders but i can see russel bringing back the raiders to a alright record but not the playoffs but maybe next year and even if randy moss leaves they should still pick russel over calvin johnson cuz if moss stays andew walters suck hes the worst qb ever he can even get the ball to moss so wat is moss supposed to do? russel is definetly number 1 pick

in my opinion yes.
he is arguably the best quarterback in the draft.
he probably beats out brady quinn solely because of his superior strength and power. you could also make the argument that calvin johnson is better than him but its hard to compare wide receivers to quarterbacks. also the raiders are in need of a QB. the safe bet would obviously be calvin johnson but if you want a possible franchise player and great QB you should go with russel.
