Is there any famous person that's a good role model besides Oprah? But that doesn't make Britney a bad person. I think if I had to put up with all the crap that she does, I would go a little crazy myself.

Well she shaved her hair off because drugs stay in your hair the longest. K-fed was going to give her a drug test for custody over the kids. She isn't the best role model out there. But you still should cut her some slack. The poporotsey is all over her. I heard a clip of her like crying asking the poporotsie to stop and give her a break just this 1 time. I mean how would you feel if you had tons of people following you everywhere??? I know I would hate it.

It's so easy to judge people when you're not the one being mobbed by paparazzi all the time. Honestly, how well do you think you woud look if every moment of your life was always caught on camera? Every good moment as well as every bad. I'm sure I wouldn't come off looking like a superstar. Though I must say, I've always made sure my children were safe and secure in their child seats. But then again, I wasn't running from paparazzi...

Anyway, my point is... No, Britney isn't the best role model out there. (Or "roe" model for that matter). But, I'm no one to stand in judgment of her. I, for one, hope that she can pull herself out of this funk that she's in. She's getting the help that she needs and I believe she's going to emerge a stronger, more mature woman who could, no doubt, be a great role model for young women or even young celebrities.

Britney Spears is not my idea of a role model. I think it was cool she shaved her head (that takes guts for a chick). A lot of people drop their kids and it doesn't make them dumb, it's just an accident.

Anyone can become famous if they put their mind to it.

Britney had two children in less than two years. She cut off her hair as she said the long hair hurt her head as she wore it most of the time. Her husband treated her terribly having affairs, going out without her, and even forgetting her birthdays. She only went out partying for two weeks and with her money she could have hired Mary Poppins herself for her kids.

From the video I saw, she did not "drop" her baby. He didn't come anywhere near the ground. And there were enough people hanging on her it's a wonder she kept hold of him the whole time anyway. He just started to go backwards and she pulled him up with her arm. No "drop" about it.

Britney also told media that she didn't leave her home until her kids were asleep. I think she earned a blow out. She is just 25 and has had her parents with her all her life...and her mother runs things HER way. I nearly cried myself when she had cut her hair and had her head down saying, "If everybody would just quit touching me all the time..."

She kept trying to save her marriage in the midst of all this, and kept working until she was too big. That's a lot to dump on a young girl with no support from anywhere...Look at her eyes in photos. She is so afraid about all of it.

People in glass houses...And but for the grace of God...And look out for the sour grapes and jealousy.

I think she actually looks better with a shaved head. Of course she's a bad role model for fans, but for her kids... I don't know, she just needs to clean up her act. I'm not too worried about her kids, so many people have really really crappy parents, and they're not scrutinized when they're not famous. Maybe Spears' kids will turn out better for having such odd parents.

If I'm President I decree that all celebrities be Psychologically evaluated and if they reach the Britney and Paris level then they are automatically sterilized by order of the State. So many celebrities have kids as accessories rather than to render love and raising. If you're going to be away from home 8 months out of the year then it's damn selfish and cruel to have children.

Believe it or not almost every kid is dropped once or twice. I do not dispute Britney is in dire need of a life style make over; but, geez Louise, let her up. She's trying.

I have never been a fan and doubt I'll ever be one - I just know I'm glad the mistakes and missteps I've made in my life are not splattered all over the tabloids (TV & print.) I won't even argue abount her bringing it on herself - she did. But we all make mistakes.

Let's step back now and see where she is this time next year.

i dont think she is trying to be a role model, just becouase she is famous doesnt mean ppl should try and act like her, my heart actually really goes out to her because as much as everyone wants to be famous it cant be easy and would put so much strain on your life, she is obviously not well and i think if ppl just gave her some space she may be able to come good again, accidents happen, when she dropped her child it wasnt intentional and things like that can happen even if your the best mother in the world, and really how does her hair have anything to do with it, how does that make her a bad person?? Different yes, not bad,

Back off. shes under way to much stress. i read in the mags that she shaved her head because k-fed threatened to take her hair for drug testing. she's probabley a good mum. i dropped my son but i caught him, i'm a damn good mum, its just cause it was on camera! does anyone remember when michael jackson daggled his baby over the balcony? now hes friggen insane!!!! i nearly died when i saw that. he should have lost his kids for that. britney needs some time away from the spotlight. c'mon give her a break. she's only young we've al done some partying when we were young and i dont think tinsel town helps at all.
