you could hear the smack, and also when it hit the wall and the bleachers

Scared? Hardly.

Frustrated? Maybe.

More determined? Absolutely.

Manute Bol was 7'6". Sure he was a good shot blocker, but unless you're my age or older I bet you never heard of him! He played in the NBA, by the way. The point is- being tall, able to leap high, and block shots doesn't make you a great "force" in basketball. In high school I was 5'11" and could dunk (and I'm white)! Don't let size intimidate you!

definetly not...is that supposed to intimidate you?...for him...all the box score shows is a blocked shot... for the one shooting/laying up it shows as a missed FG attempt.... why should they care about getting their shot blocked...it just shows that they can block shots... next time...throw a pump fake...make him jump...then get the body contact and go to the foul line...get the 2 pts... keep doing that... get him into foul trouble...eventually he can no longer contest the shot because he doesn't want to pick up any more fouls... Look at Andres Beidrins on the Warriors, Joel Pryzabilla on the Blazers, Kendrick Perkins on the Celtics...
but yes..there are good shot blockers....but why should you be scared to get your shot blocked?...just throw up a shot and get fouled...it doesn't matter..

is this in college or in high school?
If this is high school, that guy must've been held back 10 years if he has a 36" vertical AND is 7' tall. In other words, yes, be afraid, be VERY afraid.
