I'll answer this, with the caveat that it's only hypothetical. By answering I in no way, shape or form endorse or encourage the flirting with any gorilla, chimp, orangutan or any other primitive primate. Trust me they may throw you out of the zoo for it.
It is not ok to wink at a female silverback gorilla for the following reasons. First of all even if she were interested, I'm fairly certain that her family would never approve. Gorilla parents are just old fashioned. Secondly if shes a gorilla there's a good chance that her boyfriend is too, you would be in for a world of hurt. Thirdly, if shes a silverback, that's the equivalent of human grey hair. Even if her parents consented, and she didn't have a boyfriend, you would end up having to go to bingo every Thursday, and spending every winter in a cheap trailer in Florida, driving a golf cart to the grocery store to pick up the days supply of fiber supplements.

A sliverback is a male gorilla, the female mountain gorilla never gets large enough or is out in the open enought to get the "silver" back!

lol! funny question, but I dont think so, if i remember correctly silverback gorillas are male not female, but if you weren't being serious then I dont think it would be a good idea, she might get vicious or then again you might get lucky, who knows.
