I had one several years ago, but it wasn't very good. I couldn't get it to tune into anything.

Midland WR-100 is a popular NOAA radio. Cost appoximately $30. You want to make sure that you get a All-Hazard radio with S.A.M.E. technology that way you can program the counties that you want to monitor. Otherwise you might be listening to it going off for an area on the opposite side of your Weather Service coverage area.

Go to Radioshack and get one there. It may cost 70 dollars (like mines) but its worth it
