I've heard that raspberry leaf tea helps (and it also helps cramps).

There are those who claim that there are herbal remedies, but frankly there is no such thing! Hormones can only be controlled by other synthetic hormones. Just because she's a virgin does not mean for one moment that she can't take BC pills. If she's so irregular that you're worried about it, then you should have her go to a doctor and get a full physical and gynecological exam.

I don't know of any herbal remedies but a doctor can prescribe birth control pills for a while to get her back on track. I had to do that when I was 13 because of very irregular periods.

She's still young, so her periods may end up being irregular at times. Why does she "need" her period to become regular, esp. if she is a virgin/ not sexually active? Does she eat too little/too much? Sleep and exercise enough? Those are factors. There are plenty of good female herbs, many nutrition/healthfood stores will have formulas for women w/ multiple herbs and vitamins for support. I do not recommend the pill, but it is a way to regulate periods, if that is your concern.

Please, please, please no herbal products---you have no idea of how many cases of people dying because the "herbs" used in these products were treated with different types of insecticides- ones which are illegal in the states but used in other countries. When ingested, they cause renal failure which leads to death.......take your daughter to a gynecologist- a doctor that specializes in women. It can be natural for her not to have a regular period if she is a very thin person or is very athletic-- it can also be that she has only one ovary functioning-which would make her ovulate every other month. There are a lot of other possibilities-- all of which should be the doctor discussing them with her...........please take her...........good luck

Im 24 and still waiting for my period to become regular. i have no recognizable diseases or defects but they just dont come normally, sometimes 5 months. thankfully im on the pill so they come regularly now. its really the best thing for regulating it. plenty of young, virginal girls go on it for that purpose.

It might not be what you're looking for, but birth control pills could solve the problem.
