For those of you thinking that it might be FUN, help you control your weight or just make you COOL and fit in, It does all of that I guess.

My son was a recovering addict from when he was 16-18, he lived with his mom and went through rehab several times for both meth and beer. At the age of 35 he HUNG HIMSELF because he could NEVER get rid of the after affects on his brain. He was anti-social, he couldn't concentrate and was disgnosed as being a schitzophrenic. He couldn't hold a good job and went from one menial job to another. He was an astronomy WIZARD, but never went to school because he could not deal with the structure. He was CLEAN from crystal for over 20 YEARS and the after affects for two years of FUN and ESCAPE stayed with him for the rest of his short life.
He went from a crystal addiction to a life of looking over his shoulder because the crystal was ALWAYS there and the after affects NEVER left!
BE COOL, BE FUN and be prepared for a life of HELL!

THANKS for your answeres and you are probably right, "The people that NEED to read this won't". I just thought that some good could come from his story.

Bloodline, YOU got SCREWED BIG TIME and I am SORRY.

The point that I was trying to make is that crystal is NOT like smoking a REALLY GOOD joint ONCE or even several times. You get stupid, EVERYTHING is FUNNY and you wake up with NO hangover. Crystal is like inviting a nice guy to dinner that will NEVER leave and is abusive. ONE TIME and you are SCREWED.
Isn't advanced chemistry GRAND? They have found a way to use OTC stuff to create a drug that ruins one's life after a SINGLE USE. If one has minor issues it magnifies them so that they are no longer controllable; PS, anxiety attacks and the rest. It takes the locked door off of the hinges and everything flies out; HANG IN "Bloodline" and keep the faith; I am SORRY for what you are going through!
If I was able to SCARE the S*** out of YOU then GOOD! Do your homework!

Drug taking can and does ruin your life. Since its made by your local methhead anyway, it could be the wrong strength and so kill you, or it could be mixed with something else worse than meth (heroine). All it takes is one time of joy, then the drug owns you. You will do anything to get it. The flashbacks are the worst. I am still having flashbacks and its been about 35 years since I stopped taking drugs.Don't ever, ever do it. It is bad news. Most people that get on meth don't ever get off meth.

Yeah, I know exactly what it did to me... it put me in the hospital and on the verge of an aneurysm. I didn't even want the stuff. Someone slipped it into my drink when I was at a party... and then I didn't sleep for eight days. I had such a headache the entire time, and by the time I finally talked someone into taking me into the hospital, the doctor told me if I'd come in even an hour or two later, he might've been unable to help get the drug out of my system.

So, I didn't want the stuff, but am I going to go to Hell for having done it? I don't think so! I do my best to be a good person, in spite of being a paranoid schizophrenic, who has panic attacks that turn into seeing-red, raging fits. I'm doing the best I can under the circumstances I was given. If God wants more than that from me, then He can help me find a better way, 'cause the direction I'm going isn't leading me much of anywhere.

Actually, I don't know what it would do to me, because I've never done it. Drugs are not my cup of tea.
I am sorry for your family's terrible loss. It must be very hard to live with. Try to be gentle with yourself.
