My husband and I have been together for 3 yrs and we have a 2 1/2 yr old son. I want another baby, but he seems a little hesitant. How do you know when is the right time to have another baby? Is it ever the perfect time?

Well, it is really just a feeling you get but since you already have one I am wondering what is he hesitating about. Is it money? time? or is it just the work involved.... changing diaper again and midnight feelings and all of that? If it is just the little things usually people just need a little time to get used to the idea. Just start talking about it. If it is not being ready because of money or not being able to take care of another child then you should really wait until both people are completely ready. That could cause stress on the relationship and you dont want that I say just stay open and honest and it will all work out. Good luck!!

I don't know if there is a such thing as a perfect time, but I do know that in order to keep your marraige strong you have to both agree.

Just tell him how you feel and let him know that you would never push him into something he wasn't ready for. Encourage him to openly discuss his fears about having a second child. Then maybe the two of you can come up with a game plane and a time frame that works for you both.

The last thing you want is for your husband to subconciously resent you or the new baby because he wasn't ready.

l asked my boyfriend to get a guys point of veiw and he suggested trying harder at work so that finance isnt a problem and you both can talk about it I think maybe show him how it will help your son become more social and have a playmate i am trying for another for that reason and fortunatly my man wants it. I hope this helps you and him if he still says know just get pregnant on your own now is better to get pregnant before it is too late and you both are old the sooner you have them the sooner you can retire with kids in college and out of the house. good luck.
