help me to decide board and processor ?

i have two options at this moment
first intel core 2 duo 1.8 E 6300 with intel DG865WH board.
second AMD dual core 3800+ with ASUS M2N4 board.
which should i buy for maximum performance on hardcore gaming.

go with core 2 duo E6300 with 965WH board it will fly.
