Contact the paper in the area your looking for the obituary in and ask if they can seach their Archives. You can do the same thing at any public library.

At your local Library. They keep many things on Micro-fish and this is one way of keeping up to date. You will need to know where this person died and the county of the death. It is hard to pinpoint a location, because each city has a different way of attaining this info.
