It's pretty hard to work from home and make that kind of money. If you're good with kids, daycares make a good amount of money... you could consider that.

I am an older worker who was unexpectedly laid off six months ago. Thank goodness I was! I tackled something that had been in the back of my mind for quite a while: a home based internet business. I am now making more than I ever made in an office, and I'm so much happier than I have been in years and years.

It's not a walk in the park. Some days I feel like tossing my computer out the window. This is a real job commitment. But I can choose my own hours, take a break when I have a doctor's appointment, work in the evening when I need to.

My site is about a hobby that I have had most of my life. I wrote about all the tricks and tribulations I've learned over the years, and even wrote an ebook on how to sell at art fairs that really is doing well.

I got my start from a short course I found on the internet. The course is free. It might be a starting point for you.

I would suggest starting a home buisness that takes zero start up or at least minimal start up because you do not want to get farther behind.

I have been working from home for many years and have been primarily in the Health Products biz. Unfortunately the vitamin and health juice biz is very saturated now and takes quite a while to build income plus not all people are concerned about their health until the get sick.

I would take a look at the Fine Choice Food Club. It is the only network marketing company out there that has food as their product. They offer gourmet, restaurant and everyday food which is great.

Here is teh best thing: There is absolutley no risk with joining teh company because they give you a free web site and you agree to buy $100 worth of food from them each month, which I am sure you are purchasing anyway.

It even gets better. If you tell your neighbor about the company and they purchase you earn $100, that's each and every time you refer someone. Then you earn a % on there order each month following.

Because of our system you can still earn a commission even if you never tell a sole about the company.

They also offer profit share, free trips, etc.

Take alook at http://www.foodriches.com if interested call me.

You can also go to
http://www.audioacrobat.com/note/Czqd90VQ/
and listen to a 5 minute overview of the company.

I am a leader in teh company so I will help you get started.

Good luck with whatever you do,

Henry

Look in your life, what are you good at? What do people come to you for advise for?

Look for needs within your community. Is there some skill you have that you could provide people?

Finally, do you have extra items at home that you don't want, but others may want? One possibility would be to sell those items on eBay. Do research on eBay (or other auction sites) and see if people are looking for what you have. Start the auction low and see what happens.

There is no way to guarantee the amount of income you will make, of course. It's good if you can find something that you are passionate about, because then you will put in the time and effort you need to succeed at your new venture.

It is difficult to have a home-based business. If you are someone that is not comfortable with selling or with approaching friends or family (or do not have a big network of friends to invite to home parties), I would suggest not selling Avon, Tupperware etc., because you will not very good luck with that.

Anyways, take a good inventory of your interests, talents and abilities. I know if you find something you have a true interest in, you should be able to parlay it into something special.

Best to you in your new business.

Peace & take care,
debm

I can help. The beauty of owning a home business is that you are paid in direct proportion to the amount of effort you put into it, so when people are in dire straits, they have a tendency to really kick-start their business. One of my associates was in a situation when she got started, and her first month she earned $1,500 and was up to $2,300 by her second month.
We market a health and wellness product that does very well with gyms, spas, salons, Dentist's offices, Chiropractors offices, etc. If you know anyone with health challenges or is looking for prevention of disease, this is for you. I have a large market with the baby boomers, helping them with issues such as arthritis, insomnia, back pain, fibromyalgia, IBS, and many more. There are over 75 clinical studies published on pubmed.org, so the science and medical validation are there. This is something you can do on the internet, by telephone and person to person. Incomes of $10k/mo are definately not unusual

Hi there, I certainly feel your pain. I have been trying out different "work at home" programs for several months. I tried at least 15 (paid a lot for this). But, I wanted to see if any of them produced results. Well, two of them did, I dropped the rest. I have made really great money with the first one listed below. Its in its early stages.....

Good luck with all of it!

As with any business venture, you should find a need and fill it, or figure out what you're good at, and sell it.
