YES! Being an avid Braves fan I am somewhat bias but I do believe they have improved. There bullpen last year gave up 35 leads over the coruse of the year and they lost 23 of those, with mike gonzalez and rafael soriano added to the end with wickman I do not see any possible way they do that again. If they wouild have blown 8 less leads they would have been the wild card team. Also it was very smart to trade Adam Laroche even though his bat will be missed. Craig Wilson hits lefties pretty well and Scott Thorman has a couple years to show his stuff. After a couple years the Braves will move Chipper Jones, he's pretty good, to first first base to try and extend his fabulous career. It's all positives for the Braves this offseason. I'm more worried that they might trade Andruw Jones midseason if they are struggling, and if not traded by then I don't see any possible way the Braves pay him the money he wants (something around the 130 million the Blue Jays gave Vernon Wells and Andruw says he won't take a hometown discount. Bye bye Andruw, sooner or later.

The braves are my favorite team and they should have a really good team, but there are some question marks... can Chipper stay healthy? can Johnson play 2b? can hampton return to his old self? Im glad this year they have a pretty good bullpen because it was frustrating having to score 12 runs to win

I think they have a good chance. If not for the choke in June last year, I think they could have still made some noise and made the playoffs. I think they are a better team this year, so I think they will challenge the Mets for the division.
