kevin durant 25.4 ppg, 11rpg, shooting like 49% but he's 6'9... durant's game is multidimensional.Kevin Durant is a mix between KG and Melo. Durant is the best player in college basketball period.

Best player at this point is Kevin Durant. I agree that he won't transfer as well to the NBA as Greg Oden will. He's got great talent, but he shoots almost twice as often per game as Oden (I think he averages about 17 attempts, Oden averages about 9). I think that inflates his stats a bit, plus the fact that he basically has to lead Texas along with DJ Augustin. OSU is an extremely balanced team, I think they have 5 guys who average in double figures, much like Florida does. They share the ball really well, unlike Texas; their strategy is get the ball to Augustin, he'll get it to Durant and then whatever happens happens. Oden is such a dominant force inside, he can take a player out of a game (i.e. Alando Tucker's performance in the last game- 12 points on 5-15 shooting, and Tucker is a Player of the Year candidate). I think Acie Law is a better leader than both, probably because he plays the point and hits some monster shots; that 3 to send the game to overtime was almost impossible to make.
Durant has the talent but needs to work a little bit on his physiqe. Being 6'9" and 225 lbs isn't gonna work at the NBA level, he's not gonna be able to post up against some of the bigs in the NBA. Oden's size is much better at 7'0", 280 lbs, plus the fact that he blocks 3.5 shots per game. I think he would make a much larger impact as a rookie in the NBA than Durant would. That having been said, if Durant works on his inside game and power a little bit, he would be amazing. He's not going to be able to take guys off the dribble as easily in the NBA as he does in college.

Kevin Durant would be the default answer, but what about Acie Law! Talk about clutch, especially in the last game versus Texas!
Averaging 17 pts per game, and 3 board, 5 and a half assists!
Clutch clutch clutch!

Currently Durant, but Oden will turn out to be the better player in the end. He is a defensive powerhouse and will dominate the NBA the way Shaq used to.

Law then Durant. What a game last night! The only reason why he gets a higher rating is because he's a senior and the shots he's hit this year have been incredible.

Alando Tucker of Wisconsin. He can do it all and he comes to play 40 minutes every game.
