If you miss her, then it probably means that it has already sinked in, that you know that you've lost someone.

How long before you actually get over your loss? Do you really want to do that? It's almost like waiting to stop loving her. I think you can continue loving her but still get on with your life. It's not bad to miss someone who's already gone unless it consumes your life. Live. I'm sure your grandma would want you to do that. :)

Yes, me too, rarely does more than two or three days go by when I do not think about my grand-mother, she was such fun and we laughed so much. I still miss the fun and the laughs all these years later. If I close my eyes, I can see her and hear her laughing. I am really glad that I was lucky enough to have her.

It's not something you can ever get over. The only thing you can do about it is to come to terms with the fact that you grandma is gone. Keep in mind that your grandma is in a happier place!!

It sinks in the moment it happens. And that sinking hole will never be filled. You just gotta learn to carry on without that person in your life. It always hurts really bad, but you'll carry on. Sorry about your loss.

For me, 15 years and still counting... It is such a tribute to your grandmother, though, that she lived such a wonderful and kind life that people in this world are still missing her. Isn't it better that we have had people in our lives that touched us so that we think about them and miss them still? Many people can't say that. So sorry about your grandma, sweetie.

Sometimes I forget and something funny will happen and I think "I'm gonna tell him that he'll laugh", then just as quick as I think it I remember that he's gone. It's been 3 years this month. I don't know how long it takes.

from the moment i walked into that hospital room and looked at my grandfather he looked frail and sickly and I watched him take his last breath, then it sunk in that he's gone my grandpa is gone i was lucky to have him in my life for 33 years. I will always miss him and my grandmother. she died 7 months later my mother found her dead in her chair and my mother called me up screaming and crying that she's dead there wasn't anything I could do to help my mother I live in a different state.
